This skills check shows how much I have improved since the last one. For example, my portrait is very focused and the background is blurred. It is from the shoulders up. I think I did a good job composing this photograph. Additionally, my landscape has very rich colors and lighting. It is a very interesting picture. Overall, I think the quality of my photos have greatly improved since my last one. All of my photographs are more focused and clear.

One way I grew since my last skills check is that my portrait has a very simple background and light in the eyes. This looks better than my previous portrait and I am getting better at taking them. One way i need to improve is on my landscape and still life-incorporating more leading lines and rules of composition.
Since my last skills check, I have improved quite a bit. Overall, my portrait is more composed and the lighting is better. My landscape is something I still need to improve on however, it does seem to look better than some of my other ones. another area that needs improvement is my still life. The lighting can improve a lot. Compared to my last skills check, i think my pictures are more put together and composed which I am proud of. Something I still need to improve on is blurring backgrounds and lighting. I will work on it.
After looking at this skills check compared to my previous skills check, I can see that I have grown through my use of contrast and focus on the focal point. My images are more focused on the main part of the image and overall I think I did a good job framing them. I think that something I can improve on is using different angles and cropping techniques to make my photos stronger. Additionally I would like to learn and improve more on my landscape photos and how to make them stronger. In comparison to my third skills check I have improved on light in the portraits eyes, and creating more contrast through colors and cropping. I still need to improve on blurring the background if it is not relevant to the photo. Compared to my first skills check, my portrait has improved a lot, there is light in both eyes and the cropping is better. I think that I learned a lot more since the first skills check and I improved with the overall composition of my photos. In order to improve, I want to adjust the lighting and blur then background more.
After looking at these images compared to my last skills check, I can clearly see that I improved greatly on the portrait. I used light in the eyes and a simple blurred background to emphasize her features. Additionally, I think I did a better job using rule of thirds. Something I need to improve on is working on framing the images more with leading lines. Additionally, I would like to use more color contrast. My plan to improve is to play more around with colors and be creative. This will help me improve my photography. I am personally most proud of my portrait because of the blurred background and light emphasis in the eyes. Lighting is something I have struggled with in the past and I am proud that I did a better job this time.
I was absent for the first skills check, however I can still see some areas of growth from the beginning of the year. One way I improved is that I tried to avoid the middle in these photographs even if it is only slightly off, it still makes the image more interesting to look at. Additionally I improved by using brighter natural lighting and never using the flash on my camera. Some areas I need improvement on are blurring out the background a little bit more if it does not add to the picture and experimenting with more of the rules of composition such as diagonals and movement. Overall, I am most proud of my work on using Rule of thirds and incorporating background into my pictures.
